Established in 1999, this is a Family owned Vegetarian Indian restaurant. The Owner and Head Chef is Bhanuben Chavda, born in India and brought up in Africa. Bhanu has her styles of cooking with a mix of her own recipes coming from all over India typically from Gujarat, south and north India.
She came to the States in the early 90's and started a small home based catering service in 1994. In 1999, her lifelong dream of owning her own restaurant came to life when she and her husband Ashokbhai Chavda opened up Khasiyat Indian Vegetarian Restaurant. Not to mention the meaning of Khasiyat is Specialty, and that comes from her special recipes which are loved by thousands of families across USA today.
Sheer hard-work, dedication and always a smile on the face to satisfy their customers, Bhanuben and Ashokbhai worked together to keep the restaurant up and running successfully for more than twenty years. Now she has a well established name in the Indian community in Florida and United States and also in major parts of India.
Khasiyat has earned a great name in the recent years after Bhanuben and Ashokbhai’s son Mitesh started heading the business with a completely new approach towards cooking especially in catering. Mitesh Chavda, who is heading the business today has taken Khasiyat to new heights with his own new styles and a great deal of Innovation he brought in to the culinary art.
